Annual Mr. & Miss Spring City Pageant
The Annual Mr. and Miss Spring City Pageant is a long standing tradition in Spring City. Each year, young people from age 0 through 16 compete for the title in their respective age groups. With six age groups for both boys and girls, the pageant is full of fun and excitement for all involved. Winners receive a crown or tiara and a sash proclaiming their title. Each winner is invited to represent Spring City at all official functions of the Chamber during the year of their reign. Most of the winners participate (for free) in the annual Christmas Parade. The pageant is open to those residents who are served by the Spring City Post Office and who have not yet attained their 17th birthday as of the day of the pageant.
